Luhačovice
One of the most beautiful spa towns lies in the valley of the Olšava river in the White Carpathian Protected Landscape Area, about 14 km from Uherský Brod. The importance of this place is associated with the 300-year tradition of spa treatment of the respiratory tract, digestive tract, diabetes and locomotor apparatus. There spring 17 mineral springs, which are used for drinking, inhalations and bath. The most famous springs are Vincentka, Aloiska, Ottovka, the spring of Dr. Šťastný and Sv. Josef. Architect Dušan Jurkovič has created there a unique set of Art Nouveau spa houses inspired by folk architecture.
