Strání
The village under Velka Javořina is known for its folklore and cultural traditions. Fašank festival, which is annually held here, is largest festival of carnival traditions in the Czech Republic. The local part Květná is famous thanks to the handmade glass production. Handmade glass has more than 200 yr. tradition here. The first factory was founded here in 1794 by Prince Lichtenstein. From Strání you can follow green tourist sign and climb to the highest peak of the White Carpathians Velka Javořina (970 m above sea level).
