The village, famous for the beauty of folk costumes, wineries, musical traditions, folk architecture, and especially the "Kings ride", called "Pearl of the Slovácko region" is situated in the middle of the basin of the White Carpathian Mountains. There are two significant nature reserves in the cadastre – Vlčnovský háj and Kovářův žleb, where rare elements of thermophilous fauna and flora are preserved. On the outskirts of the village you can find 41 protected monument buildings, called „Búdy“ and small wine chapel. This buildings come from the 18th-20th centuries. It is the largest monument preserve of vineyards in the Czech Republic.
