Maršov trail
- Lengt of trail: 9-11 km
- Difficulty: mostly on unpaved forest roads
- For pedestriand and cyclists
The Maršov trail is the highest of all the educational trails and mostly leads through woods. The Maršov trail starts at the pond on the Pod Vinohrady estate, continues through the allotments, then on through the Újezdec wood and takes you partly along an asphalted road as far as Maršov. This educational trail mostly tells you about the fauna and flora of this area. However, it also presents scouting in Uherský Brod, the environmental educational and enlightenment centre (former school) and the troubled history of Maršov, which was almost destroyed by massive landslides. The stop by the little cross in the fields above Maršov offers the most beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area.
Part of the trail runs along the asphalted road to Maršov. The mini-circuit through is 2.8 km long – with information panels 9–14 (9–11 are reached along a track). On this route you can enjoy some of the most beautiful panoramas of the White Carpathians, Chřiby and the Vizovice Highlands. The trail also features a telescope and panorama.
