Standing on the site where the Jan Amos Komenský Grammar School is now situated there used to be the building of Brethren choir and school, which the young Jan attended until his parents’ death. Next to the choir building there was a large Brethren cemetery, in which Jan Amos Komenský’s parents and sister were buried.
